Oral Histories
While there is no substitute for original correspondence and other primary source materials, interviews provide invaluable overviews and details of a subject, offer fresh insights, and suggest directions for further research. The PAHx Center will identify, collect, catalog and preserve digitally existing audio and video oral histories and will initiate interviews with key individuals to help fill in gaps of missing information. Interviews help us understand better the context in which decisions were made and we need your help to identify people who played key roles in the development of organizations, accreditation, certification, model legislation, and professional relationships and who addressed role delineation, workforce and governmental issues or other areas of interest.
