Celebrate the Fourth by Honoring a Military PA

The PA History Society hopes that everyone has a splendid and safe Fourth of July and Fourth of July weekend! Please consider taking time away from the BBQs and fireworks to honor a PA veteran or service member by purchasing a brick paver in their honor. The engraved brick pavers are installed in the patio and walkway of the John McElligott PA Veterans Garden at the Stead Center in Durham, NC. The PA Veterans Garden has the distinction of being the only veterans garden in the United States that strictly honors PAs who have served their country.

The engraved 9×9 pavers are available for $100 each. For those interested in purchasing more than one paver we offer a sliding scale: 1 for $100, 2 for $175, 3 for $250, 4 for $325 and 5 for $400. The engraved paver will include the appropriate uniformed service logo and 3 lines for name, branch and years of service.  There is a maximum of 21 characters per line.

To order your tax deductible brick paver(s) please click here and you will be directed to our PAHx Veterans Garden Paver site at Bricks R Us. The information you will need for the brick is: The name the brick is for, Rank, and years of service. For a list of those who already have pavers, please click here.

If you choose to order a certificate along with your brick purchase, the certificate will appear similar to the photo below.

Bricks R Us cannot customize their certificates at this time to reflect how the physical brick will appear.  Finished, inscribed bricks will appear as shown in the photograph at the top of the webpage.
