Prentiss Harrison, Rest Well
It is with a heavy heart that the PA History Society has to announce the passing of Prentiss Harrison. Mr. Harrison was the first African American PA and a true pioneer of the profession. He was a driving force in expanding the diversity of the profession in its early years. He worked with Joyce Nichols, Earl Echard, John Davis, and Steven Turnipseed to establish the AAPA Minority Affairs Caucus.
