Gone But Not Forgotten: Judith Willis

The PA History Society is sad to announce the death of Judith Willis, PA, DFAAPA. Willis passed away on October 12, 2022.

Judith Willis was the first female president of the AAPA (1984-1985). Willis always believed in the importance of research to the profession, accepting the position of Director of Research at the AAPA  in 1988. In this role, Willis was responsible for developing the new Research Division and all research activities on the PA profession and practice including: pharmaceutical research, federal grants and contracts, market research, and publication of results.
