Traveling PA Profession Banner and Online Exhibition

Traveling PA Profession Banner and Online Exhibition:  The PAHx and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) partnered to design a six-banner traveling exhibit, titled Physician Assistants: Collaboration and Care, which describes how the profession developed as a solution to meet the social and health care needs of the mid-20th century and how it continues to evolve today.

There is also an online exhibition which offers resources for educators and students, including lesson plans for middle school and high school classrooms, a higher education module, and a selection of related links and suggested readings.  You can visit the online resources here.

The banners have already traveled to many university PA programs and libraries in the last year! They also put in appearances at the 2017 AAPA and PAEA conferences.

Below, Case Western PA Students pose in front of the banner exhibit.

Marietta College displayed the exhibit at their Class of 2017’s Commencement ceremony on July 22nd.

The Yale PA Online Class of 2021 posed for a photo in front of the NLM/PAHx Traveling Banner Exhibit in the fall on 2019!

Do you have any photographs with the banners? Please share them with the PA History Society! Also, let us know how much you enjoyed the exhibit!
